"Christianophobia"...??? Do we NEED a debate about our Nations Christian traditions?

Political correctness in religion is an impossibility. There is not a soul alive that could ever make all equal and nor should they. It is about time those in power understood that each country has their own ways and should be left to keep their identity. Who really wants to become the same as every other country ? And when it would never happen due to Western differences (as Gillian Gibbons teddy-bear incident) why are people determined to waste millions of pounds attempting to do so ? The UK is of Christian heritage, end of story ... I have no problem respecting other religions, but they should also treat us as they wish to be treated themselves (strangely I believe this is the axiom of many religious teachings ... ) Festivals in this country should therefore be nationally christian and we should take pride in that. Those that have their own minority festivals sure, carry on, enjoy those and let us enjoy our own in their own name.
