An you please proof read a little bit from a story im writing :) x?

Soft footsteps sound as the doctors exit the room, I open my eyes taking in my surroundings. The room is all white, the walls padded like a mental ward. I slowly sit up thinking I will be in pain but find that i have more energy than i have ever felt. I blink a few times as the sun is unbearably bright and my eyes see things they have never noticed, it’s like looking through a microscope, seeing every little detail, the colours stand out my eyes noticing colours i have never noticed in white.
