Why not rebuild ancient greek buildings??
Dude is right. Greek architecture wasn't destroyed. Go to Washington D.C! Half of the buildings are reminiscent of Greek Architecture, such as the Lincoln memorial (built in 1922) the Jefferson Memorial( built in 1943), and even the Capitol. There was actually a Greek architecture revival from 1800-1850, even in subtle ways. Any time you see a pillar in a cylindrical shape, that architect is probably using a Greek concept. There is an appreciation for Greek architecture in modern architects, but not many of them, as there is a greater demand for buildings for companies, such as the Googleplex, so as to make their company look modern and cutting edge.
