Media: How did Ryan Giggs have time to get a Super Injunction?

He went to the High Court to block the media reporting his affair with Imogen Thomas but I am wondering how did he know the story was about to drop? Does everyone mentioned in a newspaper have prior knowledge of this thus giving them a chance to appeal? I wouldn't have thought so but how else did Giggs get his application form in before the national publication?
