Have been in the USA all my life, can i be happy in Mexico?

I have lived in the USA all my life but sadly illegally, I was brought here when i was 3 months old, I went to school and got my high school diploma in Phoenix, AZ, graduated with a 3.7 GPA, I really want to join the military but it does not seem like the government is making it easy for me, I have never been to mexico, my country of birth, but i want to know if having a united states education would help me live a happy life in mexico, What kind of careers are there for me in mexico? I really would like to know cause things are getting tough and that might be where I end up , don't get me wrong I love The United States of America I would give my life to serve this country, and I am very thankful for the education that this country has given me, but i will not wait around for the laws to change and risk getting deported and therefore making it a lot harder to become a citizen. I am now 20 years old and live in Phx, AZ, any info would be great.
